Box 268 Jefferson City, MO 65102-0268 Phone: (800) 392-6848 Working After Retirement Limit Waiver Extended Through March 31, 2020 The temporary waiver on portions of the state statutes that limit the number of hours worked and salary earned by PSRS/PEERS retirees while working for covered employers in temporary, part-time and substitute positions has been extended through March 31, 2021. The waiver period began August 7, 2020 and was originally set to expire December 30, 2020. As of this time, full-school-year work limits will once again apply effective April 1, 2021. Retirees who are reported as working after retirement after the waiver period ends, as well as their employers, will be notified of the applicable work limits at that time, and retirees will be provided forms on which to track their work. Reminder: Please continue to report working retirees’ salary and hours as you have been during the waiver period. This information is needed for tracking purposes. OASIS has been programmed so that it will not count the salary and hours reported during the waiver against retirees’ work limits.
